4 year olds & Kindergarten – Leotard (any color), ballet skirt, pink Capezio or Bloch footless tights, bare feet. White tap shoes w/ socks
1st Grade – Leotard (any color), ballet skirt, pink footed tights, or socks. Capezio or Bloch brand pink ballet shoes & white tap shoes
Ballet – Leotard (any color), black ballet skirt, Capezio or Bloch brand pink tights and pink ballet shoes. No tees or jazz pants.
Pointe – Leotard (any color), black ballet skirt, pink tights, both Ballet (flat) & Pointe shoes are needed for class. No tees or jazz pants.
Tap – Leotard or tank, suntan tights, dance shorts or jazz pants (any color). Tan Capezio or Bloch brand tap shoes. Black tap shoes for 7th grade and up.
Jazz – Leotard or tank, suntan tights, dance shorts or jazz pants (any color) and tan jazz shoes.
Hip Hop – Leotard or tank, dance shorts or jazz pants (any color). Black low-top Converse sneakers.
If you are looking for a studio emphasizing fundamentals and classical training this is it! We appreciate Teresa's (and staff's) dedication to teaching the why behind the basics and correct terminology. A true dancers studio!
Dance Arts has been a wonderful place for my daughter. They have provided her with not only great dance training, but a place to call a second home. Teresa Vidak and her staff teach fantastic choreography that is always age appropriate and classy. We came to Dance Arts after 5 years at another studio, and we have never regretted our decision to change. Recitals never disappoint, and are always beautiful and fun. Both my daughters started dancing at Dance Arts when they were in pre-school and continued through high school.
As a parent, it was important to me to have them learn dance skills but also to be in a place where they felt safe and respected. Dance Arts is that type of environment. The staff are positive role models and take the time to get to know each student and their families.
